{"id":35676,"date":"2025-07-03T15:54:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T15:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/35676\/"},"modified":"2025-07-03T15:54:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T15:54:09","slug":"woman-injured-in-convenience-store-altercation-dies-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/35676\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman injured in convenience store altercation dies \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman injured during an altercation at a convenience store in Hollywood died Wednesday, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>LAPD officers responded to the 7-Eleven store located on the 5700 block of Melrose Avenue on June 24 at around 2:15 p.m.\u00a0According to preliminary information, two women were in a verbal altercation that later turned physical.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When police arrived, a woman believed to be in her 20s was found unconscious on the floor of the store, LAPD said. <\/p>\n<p>The victim, later identified as Jessica McLaughlin, was taken to a hospital.
