Yuks before the real yuck<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, the only subject is New York.<\/p>\n

The prices are up and the management\u2019s down .\u2009.\u2009. Born naked, wet and hungry, boys get slapped on the ass and it goes downhill from there .\u2009.\u2009. One stripper awoke after a big night, found her clothes on and yelled: \u201cI\u2019ve been draped\u201d .\u2009.\u2009. Another learned: Never smack a guy in the face who\u2019s chewing tobacco.<\/p>\n

With sex for sale on the street, men will now wear zippers at half mast and prefer activity on days beginning with T: today, Thursday, tomorrow, Thanksgiving, Thaturday and Thunday .\u2009.\u2009. NYC\u2019s Sanitation Dept. is devoting its November trash pickup to politicians .\u2009.\u2009. Some candidates, free to run, even made bail.<\/p>\n

Aged New York gents all play golf \u2014 a small ball chased by guys too old to chase anything else .\u2009.\u2009. Computers are getting too human. One CEO went to jail because his laptop turned state\u2019s evidence .\u2009.\u2009. One mistake and you\u2019re called an idiot. Computer makes a mistake and it\u2019s a malfunction.<\/p>\n

Communist: A nothing who wants to share his nothing with everybody,<\/a> or one who borrows your pot to cook your goose .\u2009.\u2009. Dental patient: \u201cLook, no cavities \u2014 but all my gums are gone\u201d .\u2009.\u2009. In Hell, asked if the detainee preferred Communist or Capitalist section, said \u201cCapitalist. Then I know the heating won\u2019t work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some free advice<\/strong><\/p>\n

Never buy an evening gown from a vending machine, or a loan company that says \u201cDo not borrow from friends. Take from us. You\u2019ll lose your friends. You\u2019ll never lose us,\u201d or from an employment agency that says: \u201cGirl needs job. Willing to struggle if given the opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seedy-looking gent approached a well-dressed type on Park Avenue with: \u201cCan you lend me $25? I\u2019ve no place to sleep and no food.\u201d Well-dressed man: \u201cHow do I know you won\u2019t take this money and buy drugs?\u201d Bum: \u201cNo way. That kind of money I\u2019ve already got.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

And always remember the immortal words of one of our previous mayors, who was once asked for $125 for a cup of coffee. The mayor said: \u201c$125 just for a cup of coffee?\u201d And the vagrant said: \u201cWell, I can\u2019t go into a nice restaurant dressed like this!\u201d<\/p>\n

So: Thank you for voting<\/a>. Thank you for loving New York. Thanks for appreciating America. And always remember the immortal words of one mayor whose name I already forgot: \u201cTo enjoy a good reputation \u2014 give publicly and steal privately.\u201d<\/p>\n
