The Cardinals\u2019 starting quarterback job is Jacoby Brissett\u2019s, at least for now.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Arizona head coach Jonathan Gannon revealed on Tuesday who will be his QB1 this week against the Seahawks, one day after taking down the Cowboys on \u201cMonday Night Football.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJacoby will start,\u201d Gannon said. \u201cAnd Kyler [Murray] will keep working on his health bucket. I do like what the offense is doing right now, we\u2019ve operated well and we\u2019ll go from there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shortly after Gannon\u2019s comments, ESPN\u2019s Adam Schefter revealed<\/a> that Murray and the team has talked to multiple doctors about his foot injury, which has sidelined him for the past month, \u201cand have been told the timetables for recovery have been anywhere from 4-8 weeks, with an increased chance of setback until it\u2019s properly healed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gannon didn\u2019t appear too concerned about Brissett taking over the starting job for the time being, though.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI do like where we\u2019re operating, how we\u2019re operating as an offense,\u201d Gannon said. \u201cSo that has, in my mind, I take all the variables that I have to make a decision and make the decision when I need to. And I think we\u2019re doing a pretty good job on offense. I like what the offense is doing right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear who would be the starter if Murray was fully healthy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When asked whether he would turn back to Murray once his foot heals, Gannon had a one-word answer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSeattle,\u201d he said, referring to next week\u2019s opponent while declining to answer the question.\u00a0<\/p>\n
