A group of anglers on a fishing boat off the coast of Massachusetts came across a massive shark, and their reaction to it is golden. One of the guys on the boat caught the shark, which they estimated to be about 20 feet long, on video and posted the footage to TikTok. The video has attracted over a half-million views.<\/p>\n

I think 20 feet is the biggest, this girl is damn close.\u201d<\/p>\n The people on the boat seemed to guess that the shark was a great white, but the TikTok community is setting the record straight, saying it\u2019s a basking shark. Regardless, it\u2019s huge, and it\u2019s fun to experience the moment of shock and wonder along with everyone on the boat as they see the animal glide up close to their vessel. <\/p>\n Basking sharks are the second-largest sharks in the world (after whale sharks), and they\u2019re the largest sharks common in New England waters<\/a>.
