The whopping 48 recent restaurant closures in Dallas-Fort Worth include plenty of standalone restaurants, plus <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/2025\/09\/19\/salad-and-go-closing-dallas-fort-worth-locations-still-open\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/2025\/09\/19\/salad-and-go-closing-dallas-fort-worth-locations-still-open\/\">18 Salad and Go drive-throughs<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/business\/retail\/2025\/09\/29\/starbucks-is-closing-hundreds-of-north-american-locations-which-in-d-fw-are-shuttered\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/business\/retail\/2025\/09\/29\/starbucks-is-closing-hundreds-of-north-american-locations-which-in-d-fw-are-shuttered\/\">seven Starbucks stores<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">\u201cOur small business is dying,\u201d wrote the owners of Cold Press Cafe on social media. It isn\u2019t clear what will happen next with Ari\u2019s Pantry in downtown Dallas, though owner Ari Lowenstein <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/2024\/08\/19\/aris-pantry-in-oak-cliff-is-a-destination-for-lovers-of-italian-cuisine-and-nostalgia\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/2024\/08\/19\/aris-pantry-in-oak-cliff-is-a-destination-for-lovers-of-italian-cuisine-and-nostalgia\/\">continues to operate two other shops by the same name<\/a> in Oak Cliff and Trinity Groves. It\u2019s run by Arizona parent company Evening Entertainment Group, the same team that runs Jelly Roll\u2019s club Goodnight Nashville in Tennessee. The team <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/restaurant-news\/2025\/10\/14\/why-bottled-blonde-dallas-closed-replaced-new-club-palomino-ranch\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/restaurant-news\/2025\/10\/14\/why-bottled-blonde-dallas-closed-replaced-new-club-palomino-ranch\/\">announced Bottled Blonde would not reopen<\/a> and shifted the Dallas bar into a \u201chigh-energy honky tonk\u201d now called Palomino Ranch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Bottled Blonde was at 505 N Good Latimer Expressway, Dallas. It\u2019s been replaced by Palomino Ranch, which opened Oct. 9, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Cold Press Cafe in Colleyville<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Colleyville juice bar Cold Press Cafe plans to close around Nov. 15, 2025, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/thecoldpresscafe\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/thecoldpresscafe\">Facebook<\/a>. Annette Marin and Matthew Harber, of the D-FW-based event company Spune Productions, are taking over the space.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The campy barbecue restaurant lived up to its name, as it had an actual Ferris wheel in the backyard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Ferris Wheelers Backyard and BBQ was at 1950 Market Center Blvd., Dallas. More to come on what\u2019s next here.<\/p>\n<p>Kona Grill in Plano<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Sushi chain Kona Grill <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/plano-north\/dining\/2025\/06\/13\/kona-grill-plano-location-closes-permanently\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/plano-north\/dining\/2025\/06\/13\/kona-grill-plano-location-closes-permanently\">closed<\/a> in Plano in June 2025, according to CI. The restaurant was known for it happy hour, which included appetizers for as low as $3.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Kona Grill was at 5973 W. Parker Road, Plano.<\/p>\n<p>Maple Street Biscuit Co. in Dallas, Frisco, Keller, McKinney and Wylie<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">All but one location of Maple Street Biscuit Co. in Dallas-Fort Worth have closed. The breakfast brand has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fastcompany.com\/91410856\/cracker-barrel-closing-maple-street-biscuit-compnay-full-list-locations\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fastcompany.com\/91410856\/cracker-barrel-closing-maple-street-biscuit-compnay-full-list-locations\">owned by Cracker Barrel since 2019<\/a>, according to Fast Company, and following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/business\/2025\/08\/27\/cracker-barrel-dumps-new-logo-after-social-media-backlash\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/business\/2025\/08\/27\/cracker-barrel-dumps-new-logo-after-social-media-backlash\/\">\u201cbotched logo redesign\u201d heard \u2018round the world<\/a>, the company announced it would close 14 Maple Street Biscuit restaurants. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Seven of those were in Texas, with six in Dallas-Fort Worth.
