(KPLC) &#8211; A Texas man died after crashing into a barrier outside a refinery on Cities Service Highway overnight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The man was driving south around 1:15 a.m. when he missed the right turn near Citgo\u2019s Lake Charles Refinery, Louisiana State Police Troop D spokesperson Roy Jones said. His vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier and entered Citgo property, hitting some pipes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The man died at the scene, Trooper Jones said. His identity has not yet been released.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">No hazardous materials were released, Trooper Jones said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 KPLC.
