Madden, who appeared in court via Zoom, pleaded not guilty to all counts, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/former-american-idol-contestant-randy-madden-arrested-for-alleged-sex-with-minor-11843664\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/people.com\/former-american-idol-contestant-randy-madden-arrested-for-alleged-sex-with-minor-11843664\">per PEOPLE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"DNEVEN2BHJHBXHZWKMN4RQU4QQ\">Madden was charged on Monday with unlawful sexual intercourse, anal and genital penetration by a foreign object, oral copulation of a person under 18, sending harmful matter, luring and dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"J5HFGDMYRFGQBKDJIOYXIWP4FM\">Madden posted $100,000 bail and was released on Tuesday. Madden\u2019s next court date has been scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 13.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"TJALTKUDTRGTHOD5EPAFFPLDSM\">Madden auditioned for Season 8 of \u201cAmerican Idol.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"GBKEIFCDTVCEBAIAIE7QJACEKY\">PEOPLE reports Ventura County Sheriff\u2019s online records list Madden\u2019s occupation as \u201cdisabled.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"IWSMYZGVFJGKZAI2CQIYJB6LVM\">Madden currently has a GoFundMe link on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/randymadden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram page<\/a>, asking for help.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"IBNNV33NIZBABNA4E33HXADOAE\">According to the GuFundMe, Madden can\u2019t walk without crutches or a cane after a motorcycle accident in 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"5NHZNXSUK5DIVLLUTMI5BGAC4Y\">\u201cMy recovery has been challenging, and I can\u2019t currently work as a hairdresser due to my condition,\u201d he wrote in June. \u201cRecent surgery involved moving muscle to cover an infection, and I\u2019m now dealing with potential complications.
