Cook Children\u2019s also has a neighborhood health center in Arlington.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to the Arlington Report, Cook Children\u2019s said the new office will be about 30% larger than the current office and help physicians better serve patients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur decision to relocate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookchildrens.org\/services\/primary-care\/arlington?utm_source=bing&amp;utm_medium=yext&amp;utm_campaign=yext&amp;y_source=1_MTEzNzc5OTQtNDgzLWxvY2F0aW9uLndlYnNpdGU%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Cook Children\u2019s Pediatrics Arlington<\/a> is a direct investment in the families we serve,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>Cook Children\u2019s Pediatrics Arlington provides services ranging from immunizations to sports physicals.<\/p>\n<p>Construction on the new location will be completed in January and open in spring of 2026. The 6,734-square-foot, single-story building will boast 15 exam rooms, treatment and lab spaces, and a waiting area for families, according to a press release from Adolfson &amp; Peterson Construction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur team is committed to delivering a safe, functional and welcoming space that supports the clinic\u2019s mission of improving children\u2019s health and well-being,\u201d said Bob Lemke, vice president of operations at Adolfson &amp; Peterson.<\/p>\n<p>The planned relocation comes at a time of general growth for the health care system. Last year, Cook Children\u2019s announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/fortworthreport.org\/2024\/11\/13\/cook-childrens-announces-new-medical-tower-10-year-expansion-plan-in-fort-worth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">10-year expansion plan<\/a> for its Fort Worth Medical District campus, including the construction of a new tower and the expansion of the facility\u2019s neonatal intensive care unit.<\/p>\n<p>Cook Children\u2019s has also continued to build new neighborhood health centers in Tarrant County, including in east Fort Worth and the <a href=\"https:\/\/fortworthreport.org\/2025\/07\/30\/fort-worths-las-vegas-trail-gains-access-to-medical-care-other-vital-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Las Vegas Trail neighborhood<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The health care system has 47 primary care offices across North Texas, including over a dozen in Tarrant County, and nine neighborhood health centers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ismael M.
