{"id":358716,"date":"2025-11-06T01:34:13","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T01:34:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/358716\/"},"modified":"2025-11-06T01:34:13","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T01:34:13","slug":"four-more-set-for-highlander-remake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/358716\/","title":{"rendered":"Four More Set For &#8220;Highlander&#8221; Remake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/four-more-set-for-highlander-remake.jpg\" data-caption=\"ITV\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"464\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/four-more-set-for-highlander-remake.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"four-more-set-for-highlander-remake\"\/><\/a>ITV<\/p>\n<p>Siobh\u00e1n Cullen (\u201cBodkin\u201d), Jun Jong-seo (\u201cBurning\u201d), Nassim Lyes (\u201cUnder Paris\u201d), and Kevin McKidd (\u201cRome\u201d) have joined the cast of Chad Stahelski\u2019s remake of the 1980s action fantasy cult classic \u201cHighlander\u201d for Amazon MGM Studios. <\/p>\n<p>They join a cast that includes Henry Cavill, Russell Crowe, Marisa Abela, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Jeremy Irons, Djimon Hounsou, Max Zhang and Drew McIntyre.<\/p>\n<p>Cavill is playing Connor MacLeod, a Medieval Scottish Highlander who discovers he is an immortal warrior. With the help of a swordsman named Ramirez (Crowe), the Highlander battles other immortals across the centuries.<\/p>\n<p>Of the newcomers, Cullen is playing a police psychiatrist who helps MacLeod. Jong plays a Watcher sect member, Lyes is an immortal pursuing MacLoed. McKidd\u2019s role is not clear.<\/p>\n<p>They join Bautista as The Kurgen, Gillan as MacLeod\u2019s original wife, Hounsou as an African immortal, Irons as the leader of the Watchers, and Abela as MacLeod\u2019s modern romantic interest. <\/p>\n<p>Michael Finch wrote the script for the remake.
