Jimmy Kimmel sees Tuesday\u2019s election results as a clear bad sign for President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

Tuesday\u2019s elections saw the defeat<\/a> of several high-profile Republican candidates across the country. The most devastating result for the MAGA world was the decisive victory of NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani over Trump-backed Andrew Cuomo<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis was not a good night for the president,\u201c Kimmel said. \u201dEverything he touched was a loser.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel joked, \u201cTrump hasn\u2019t been this embarrassed since he found out there was a Donald Trump Jr.\u201d<\/p>\n

The late night host added, \u201cIf you\u2019re tired of all the losing, fear not, [Trump\u2019s] got an excuse. In fact, he\u2019s got two of them…\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel showed a Truth Social post from Trump on Tuesday night in which the president insisted Democrats only won because he wasn\u2019t on any of the ballots, and because of the ongoing government shutdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, if Republicans had won and he wasn\u2019t on the ballot, would he take credit for that? Oh, yes, he definitely would,\u201d Kimmel said.<\/p>\n

Kimmel covered Trump\u2019s Truth Social post from later on election night in which the president ominously wrote<\/a>, \u201c\u2026AND SO IT BEGINS!”<\/p>\n

Kimmel joked that the vague post was \u201ceither a response to Mamdani winning the mayoral race or he just sat down on the toilet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, seriously, what is that supposed to mean? What would motivate him to post \u2018and so it begins!\u2019 at almost midnight?\u201d Kimmel asked.<\/p>\n

Kimmel also mocked the conspiratorial response<\/a> from some MAGA pundits over the Democrats\u2019 sweeping over-performance across the nation.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs you might have guessed, Republicans are again screaming and crying about election fraud,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cIt\u2019s weird how it\u2019s only fraud when they lose, right? I mean, what are the chances?\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel addressed Trump\u2019s second excuse for his party\u2019s poor election results: the government shutdown. <\/p>\n

\u201cAs of today, we\u2019re now enduring the longest government shutdown of all time. This is day 36<\/a>,\u201d Kimmel said. <\/p>\n
