{"id":359661,"date":"2025-11-06T11:26:12","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T11:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/359661\/"},"modified":"2025-11-06T11:26:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T11:26:12","slug":"breaking-news-dallas-city-will-file-for-crosswalk-exemption","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/359661\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING NEWS: Dallas city will file for crosswalk exemption"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Dallas City Council has voted to file for an exemption to keep the state from forcing the removal of rainbow crosswalks in the Oak Lawn Gayborhood.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Greg Abbott last month ordered that Texas cities remove all rainbow crosswalks by Nov. 8 or risk losing federal funds. Abbott claimed that rainbow crosswalks express a \u201cpolitical ideology\u201d and that such crosswalks are a safety hazard.
