Babyshambles<\/a> played their first show in over a decade last night. Check out footage and the full setlist below.<\/p>\n

The indie band played their first live show together since 2014 last night (Wednesday November 5), taking to the stage at the White Rock Studios in Hastings for the first of their 2025 tour dates<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It came following a brief on stage comeback at a Pete Doherty solo gig in 2024<\/a>, and a few of the members getting together to play some classics in Watford<\/a> over the spring.<\/p>\n

While on stage, the current line-up \u2013 Pete Doherty<\/a>, guitarist Mick Whitnall, bassist Drew McConnell and drummer Adam Ficek \u2013 broke out a stacked setlist of classic tracks and deep-cuts.<\/p>\n

The setlist on the night was vastly different compared to that shared by Doherty and co. on Instagram.<\/p>\n

According to a spokesperson for the band, the show kicked off with \u2018Pipedown\u2019, before launching into tracks like \u2018Killamangiro\u2019, \u2018Delivery\u2019, \u2018\u00c0 rebours\u2019, \u2018The Man Who Came to Stay\u2019, and \u2018Baddie\u2019s Boogie\u2019. Rarities that were played on the night included the 2008 song \u2018The Blinding\u2019, which hadn\u2019t been played live since 2013.<\/p>\n

Other highlights of the night included a rendition of \u2018My Darling Clementine\u2019 \u2013 a B-side from the band\u2019s\u2019 2005 single \u2018Albion\u2019 \u2013 which hadn\u2019t been performed live since 2005, and another deep cut from their 2005 album \u2018Down In Albion\u2019: \u2018Merry Go Round\u2019, which was played for the first time since 2006.<\/p>\n

Tracks played, like fan-favourites \u2018Fuck Forever\u2019, \u2018Crumb Begging Baghead\u2019, \u2018Side Of The Road\u2019, and \u2018\u200b\u200bUnBiloTitled\u2019, are noticeably absent from the image the band shared, although they did play the written down songs \u20188 Dead Boys\u2019, \u2018Unstookietitled\u2019, and new single \u2018Dandy Hooligan\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Their image of the setlist also sees \u2018Delivery\u2019, \u2018Pipedown\u2019, and \u2018My Darling Clementine\u2019 scribbled out \u2013 seemingly indicating that they mixed up the setlist from that written down when they took to the stage.<\/p>\n

Speaking to NME recently about their return<\/a>, Doherty explained that the Babyshambles reunion only became possible once he and Whitnall had both been clean for a number of years. He also revealed that original guitarist Patrick Walden \u2013 who passed away in June<\/a> \u2013 was meant to be involved in the comeback.<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter said Walden\u2019s death was \u201ca real trigger to get it done\u201d. \u201cMy first thought was of just seeing his face up there while we\u2019re playing and that\u2019ll be an important part of it,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was always talk about it; there was always a desire to play those songs again,\u201d Doherty told NME, \u201cbut the centrifugal point of it was addiction really, and the danger that me and Mick would be an unhealthy influence on each other. So it was people around us not wanting to meet up and probably us both knowing that it wasn\u2019t a good idea.\u201d<\/p>\n

Babyshambles\u2019 debut album was 2005\u2019s \u2018Down In Albion\u2019, and was followed with two further studio albums: 2007\u2019s \u2018Shotter\u2019s Nation\u2019 and 2013\u2019s \u2018Sequel To The Prequel<\/a>\u2019. The band shared their first new single in 12 years, \u2018Dandy Hooligan\u2019, yesterday (Wednesday November 5).<\/p>\n

Tour dates continue next week with a show in Coventry, followed by stops in London, Birmingham, Manchester and more. They then pick up again in December.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Last week, Babyshambles announced a 20th anniversary reissue of \u2018Down In Albion\u2019<\/a>. The remastered and expanded edition will feature numerous session tracks, rarities and B-sides from that era.<\/p>\n
