It\u2019s like history repeating itself in Glasgow, regardless of who is in the Celtic or Rangers dugout. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Last season, Philippe Clement\u2019s Rangers released a statement moaning about officials after Brendan Rodgers\u2019 Celtic<\/a> won an enthralling League Cup final at Hampden, and now the same has happened over the weekend in the semi-final event. <\/p>\n

Celtic dispatched ten-man Rangers<\/a> in extra time, but since then, Rangers have complained<\/a> about certain calls that were made by on-field referee Nick Walsh, including the call not to send off Auston Trusty<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Danny Rohl<\/a> has also weighed in on the complaints, days later, by mentioning the Trusty<\/a> challenge, but Peter Grant<\/a> wanted to put him and the Rangers supporters straight. <\/p>\n

Billy Dodds was at Hampden<\/a>, and he had a whinge at Trusty\u2019s tackle at the time, but Grant wanted to pick up on two incidents that are being \u2018missed.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Speaking on Go Radio, the Hoops hero stated that Daizen Maeda\u2019s<\/a> offside goal shouldn\u2019t have been ruled out, as the camera used by the VAR officials was all wrong. <\/p>\n

That\u2019s when he mentioned Derek Cornelius\u2019 tackle early in the first half, and how he was \u2018lucky\u2019 to stay on the pitch. On-field ref Walsh booked him for his studs high challenge on Johnny Kenny. <\/p>\n

Either way, Grant didn\u2019t hold back, as he blasted Rangers boss Rohl for only talking about the incidents that seemingly affected his side, and how he shouldn\u2019t forget that Celtic were on the receiving end of wrong decisions. <\/p>\n

Grant:<\/strong> \u201cI think there have been a lot of things missed out. On the Rangers one, I know they have constantly gone on. There have been a lot of Rangers fans who have given me a really hard time, because they are talking about all the decisions they never got. I say, \u2018Well, you are looking through the blue glasses on.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Dodds: <\/strong>\u201cI honestly think the referee, Nick Walsh, was one of the best when he first came onto the scene. I think he has regressed. I have seen too many decisions in big games where he isn\u2019t getting them correct. He\u2019s missed a few. Not been consistent. With the Aasgaard situation. To Auston Trusty as well, straight away.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grant:<\/strong> \u201cI disagree with the manager, because he is saying there are two sides. I think there are three sides he has to remember. Celtic were there as well. He wants to talk about that. Don\u2019t forget about the offside goal. Don\u2019t forget about Cornelius\u2019 tackle. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey never even questioned it (Maeda\u2019s offside). When I went back home, I thought they must have debated it. They never even questioned it. If you are going to look at VAR. Look at it correctly, then. If that\u2019s the case, Cornelius is lucky.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone is talking about Trusty. Well, I will talk about Cornelius. I am Celtic in. Billy Dodds<\/a> is in the blue corner. I am in the green corner. If Trusty goes. Cornelius goes. Celtic should have got a goal. They never got it.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow they shouldn\u2019t get it wrong. If you can\u2019t put cameras in certain areas to see certain things, you are thinking, \u2018wow, that\u2019s incredible.\u2019 If you are talking about the Trusty one, and he (Rohl) wants to talk.
