Luann de Lesseps<\/strong><\/a> is sharing her thoughts on the ongoing backlash being dealt to The Real Housewives of New York City<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n After the series was fully recast<\/a> ahead of its 14th season<\/a> in 2023, Luann, 60, revealed what she believed led to fans\u2019 negative reception<\/a> of the group, explained how she feels Bravo should move forward, and confirmed if she was open to a future return<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think the first problem was that they had an all-new cast and they didn\u2019t keep the OGs,\u201d Luann explained to Parade<\/a> on June 30. \u201cI think that was a big problem, and I\u2019m sure they realized that was probably not the best. But it is what it is. It happened, so let\u2019s see what they\u2019re gonna do moving forward. Watch what happens! You gotta watch what happens!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think that they should combine the cast,\u201d she added, suggesting that some of the women from season 15<\/a>, which included Jenna Lyons<\/strong><\/a>, 57, Sai De Silva<\/strong><\/a>, 44, Ubah Hassan<\/strong><\/a>, 41, Erin Lichy<\/strong><\/a>, 38, Jessel Taank<\/strong><\/a>, 45, and Brynn Whitfield<\/strong><\/a>, 39, (who confirmed she will not be part<\/a> of season 16), should team up with members of the\u00a0original series.<\/p>\n Looking back at the former group, which included longstanding cast members Ramona Singer<\/strong><\/a>, 68, and Sonja Morgan<\/strong><\/a>, 61, Luann said the lineup was\u00a0\u201cepic.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s like Sex and the City, right? Those days \u2014 you capture them and, thank God they\u2019re captured on film, right? Because I can\u2019t get those back. It\u2019s that kind of thing,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n Looking ahead, Luann said she knew that Bravo had \u201ctalked about [bringing it back]\u201d as she considered her possible comeback.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know where they stand on that and where the girls stand. Ramona [Singer] has moved to Florida. Sonja [Morgan] moved to Florida. She finally sold that townhouse<\/a>, thank God. And you know, [Jill Zarin<\/strong><\/a>] is in Florida. [Kelly Bensimon<\/strong><\/a>] and I are in New York, and [Dorinda Medley<\/strong><\/a>]. So, you know, we\u2019ll see what they cook up. I never say never. I say maybe,\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n Also during the interview, Luann spoke of her appearance on Acorn TV\u2019s Murdoch Mysteries.<\/p>\n \u201cI was excited to be part of a series that has been going on for many, many, many years. The cast is incredible,\u201d she shared. \u201cThe cast [was] very helpful and very free with me on set, and everybody was so excited that I was coming. It\u2019s like Martha Stewart<\/strong> meets Snoop Dogg<\/strong>, do you know what I mean?
