If there\u2019s an opening in your neighborhood that we\u2019ve missed, let us know at ny@eater.com.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Carroll Gardens: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mistercheeksbk.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Mister Cheeks<\/strong><\/a> opened its takeout window on Wednesday, October 29, serving coffee, tea, and a limited lunch menu of soup, salads, and sandwiches. It plans to expand into an all-day cafe and market during the week of November 10. As Eater contributor Andrea Strong <a href=\"https:\/\/andreastrong.substack.com\/p\/mister-cheeks-to-open-in-carroll\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported in her newsletter<\/a>, the restaurant comes from Hilary and Lindsay Rappaport, both of whom have backgrounds in food styling and recipe development. 347 Court Street, near Union Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>East Village: <\/strong>A new Vietnamese restaurant, <a href=\"https:\/\/mocmacnyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>M\u1ed9c M\u1ea1c<\/strong><\/a>, opened on Wednesday, November 5, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQPA1MujUrI\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">limited service<\/a> through Sunday, November 9. Expect a homestyle menu with dishes like sauteed baby clams, minced wagyu wrapped in betel leaves, oxtail and pork shank pho, and l\u1ea9u m\u1eafm, a hotpot dish with seafood and pork belly, plus shochu cocktails, beers, and wines. It\u2019s open for lunch and dinner services. 77 Second Avenue, between East Fourth and Fifth streets<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>East Village:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taishokenusa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Taishoken<\/strong><\/a>, the Tokyo ramen restaurant founded in 1951, which expanded into <a href=\"https:\/\/sf.eater.com\/2019\/7\/9\/20686292\/taishoken-ramen-tsukemen-san-mateo-bay-area-open-photos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Bay Area<\/a> in 2019, made its New York debut on Tuesday, October 28. Its focus is tsukemen, a dipping ramen with cold noodles paired with a rich, meaty broth, as well as other ramen and appetizers. 92 Second Avenue, between East Fifth and Sixth streets<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Flatiron: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ooonewyork.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Out of Ordinary<\/strong><\/a>, a new nightclub and lounge with a space anchored by a sculpture of a life-sized purple rhinoceros, opened on Friday, October 31. The late-night food menu includes offerings like wagyu tataki crostini and \u201cgrilled cheese trees.\u201d 48 West 21st Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Flatiron: <\/strong>Fast-casual newcomer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.somethingreen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Something Green<\/strong><\/a> opened on Monday, November 3, with a whopping 100 grab-and-go options at any given time. The health food venture, founded by Brooklyn-born entrepreneur Elliot Hara, offers an array of wraps (salmon rice or whole wheat falafel), salads (Asian sesame chicken), sandwiches (portobello panini), bowls, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and coffee. Most meals run around $14. 39 West 23rd Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Greenpoint: <\/strong>Japanese tea shop <a href=\"https:\/\/kettl.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kettl<\/a> opened <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQpT_5NkiXJ\/?img_index=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a matcha cafe<\/a> on Monday, November 3. The <strong>Kettl Matcha Sen Mon Ten<\/strong> works as <a href=\"https:\/\/resy.com\/cities\/new-york-ny\/venues\/kettl-tea-greenpoint?seats=2&amp;date=2025-11-06\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a tasting counter<\/a> showcasing various teas that can be paired with desserts during daytime hours. 38 Norman Avenue, near Dobbin Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Greenpoint:<\/strong> Vietnamese Mexican chef Eric Tran finds a new Brooklyn home for his now-closed Bushwick hit <strong>Falansai<\/strong> inside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.panpanvinovinobk.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pan Pan Vino Vino<\/a>, reports <a href=\"https:\/\/greenpointers.com\/2025\/11\/04\/greenpoints-pan-pan-vino-vino-now-home-to-acclaimed-vietnamese-restaurant-falansai\/?jetpack_skip_subscription_popup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greenpointers<\/a>. Falansai 2.0 opened on Wednesday, November 5, with familiar favorites like shrimp cake lettuce wraps, and curry chicken tostadas. To start, Falansai\u2019s short dinner menu includes six a la carte dishes in addition to two prix fixe options ($58 or $88). Pan Pan will retain its identity as a bakery by day and a wine bar by night. 120 Norman Avenue, at Eckford Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Lower East Side: <\/strong>Decades-old bottomless brunch pioneer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.essexnyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Essex NYC<\/strong><\/a> reopened as a Mediterranean steakhouse on Thursday, October 30. The reimagined restaurant that\u2019s centered around open-fire cooking features a fresh lineup of dry-aged NY strip steak with za\u2019atar fingerling potatoes, grilled whole branzino, and seared scallops with marinated tomatoes. 124 Rivington Street, near Essex Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Lower East Side: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.one4onenyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>One4One<\/strong><\/a>, a two-story sports bar and lounge, opened on October 29, from Dylan Hales and Ronnie Flynn, the pair behind <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/news\/405858\/chef-eddie-huang-flower-shop-lower-east-side\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Flower Shop<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2020\/2\/5\/21120701\/nyc-soho-little-ways-american-bistro-flower-shop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Little Ways<\/a>. It serves wine and cocktails and a streamlined menu of classics like shrimp cocktail, a burger, and chopped salad. 141 Chrystie Street, at Delancey Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Nolita: <\/strong>NY\u2019s gnocchi takeout craze continues with the arrival of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/noccagnocchi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Nocca<\/strong><\/a> on Saturday, November 1. The pint-sized venture splashed in bright blue stars $12-and-up bowls of fluffy gnocchi in four flavors (pomodoro, pesto, cacio e pepe, and Bolognese). Nocca\u2019s packaged bags of potato gnocchi line the walls for quick fixes at home, and delivery is available, too. 250 Mott Street, near Prince Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Nomad: <\/strong>The first United States outpost of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seedlibrarynyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Seed Library<\/strong><\/a> opened on Wednesday, November 5, at Hotel Park Ave. Globally acclaimed bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana (aka <a href=\"https:\/\/mrlyan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mr Lyan<\/a>) is behind the cocktail bar, which also has a location in London\u2019s Shoreditch. Expect ambitious cocktails here, like the C.R.E.A.M. Margarita; it\u2019s made with Lalo tequila, mezcal, passionfruit, pickled chilli, lime, and \u201ccream ATOM,\u201d one of the hospitality group\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DD7eeJVNKpZ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">signature techniques<\/a>. It will also serve a simple menu of bar snacks, including baked-to-order chocolate chip cookies. 444 Park Avenue South, at East 30th Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Ridgewood:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2017\/6\/20\/15841008\/dekalb-market-hall-brooklyn-first-look\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DeKalb Market Hall<\/a>\u2019s Polish food stand <a href=\"https:\/\/pierogiboys.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Pierogi Boys<\/strong><\/a> expanded with its own physical restaurant and market in Queens back in September. Naturally, it serves up a variety of those <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/dining-out-in-ny\/406134\/best-dishes-new-york-restaurants-november-3-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pierogies<\/a>, as well as larger entrees for lunch and dinner, plus a retail shop. 57-34 Catalpa Avenue, at Onderdonk Avenue<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Upper West Side:<\/strong> Cozy cafe and wine bar <a href=\"https:\/\/labombonieranyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>La Bomboniera<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 which means \u201ca box of sweets\u201d in Italian \u2014 added a new location on Monday, November 3, reports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westsiderag.com\/2025\/11\/05\/openings-saftas-coffee-and-fine-foods-willets-corner-ny-loves-yoga-wells-fargo-bank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">West Side Rag<\/a>. The European-styled menu spotlights Italian espressos, wine, cocktails, pastries, biscotti, panini, and small plates. Husband-wife duo Nela and Artie Hidric maintain the original La Bomboniera on the Upper East Side. 203 West 82nd Street, between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Upper West Side: <\/strong>The team behind the longstanding but now-closed Harding\u2019s in Flatiron opened neighborhood bistro <a href=\"https:\/\/willetscorner.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Willet\u2019s Corner<\/strong><\/a> on Tuesday, November 4. The restaurant will serve dishes like fig toast with whipped ricotta and a seared ahi tuna sandwich that plays on the popular tuna burger from Harding\u2019s, in addition to beers, wines, and riffs on classic cocktails. 420 Amsterdam Avenue, at West 80th Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>West Village:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/playbeatbox.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Beatbox<\/strong><\/a>, a stylish new karaoke spot with features like autotune, voice filters, and game modes, opened on Saturday, November 1.
