The actress explained that she tried to approach the \u201cKardashians\u201d star while trick-or-treating with her kids in Hidden Hills, Calif., on Wednesday\u2019s episode of her \u201cmisSPELLING\u201d podcast. GC Images<\/p>\n
Spelling, 52, explained that Kardashian, 45, then said something to a friend she was walking with, and they both turned to look at her. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, Kim sees I\u2019m here, I know Kim\u2019s here,\u2019 and I\u2019m like, \u2018I haven\u2019t seen her in so long. God, it would be good to reconnect,’\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n
Ultimately, the actress was initially too \u201cnervous\u201d to confront the reality star, saying she was bummed that she walked away.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t until Spelling happened to run into her old friend Jessica Simpson, with whom she hadn\u2019t talked to in 25 years, that she plucked up the courage to approach Kardashian.<\/p>\n
The \u201cScary Movie\u201d star explained that she caught up with the \u201cKeeping Up With the Kardashians\u201d alum\u2019s group and attempted to get the latter\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n
\u201cI go, \u2018Kim!\u2019 And I had my arms out and my hands out, like I\u2019m going in to [wave],\u201d she explained, hoping that Kardashian would reciprocate the gesture. <\/p>\n
\u201cAs I do this, a bodyguard comes out of nowhere and boom, [there\u2019s] an arm blocking me right across me, and he goes, \u2018Excuse me, I\u2019m sorry, no,’\u201d Spelling said.<\/p>\n

The podcast host explained that she wanted to tell the bodyguard how she\u2019s known Kardashian for 30 years, but decided not to.<\/p>\n
\u201cI felt so shamed,\u201d she stated. \u201cMy heart dropped into my feet, and I was like, \u2018I\u2019m never saying hi to anyone again.’\u201d<\/p>\n
Spelling clarified that Kardashian had \u201calready moved ahead,\u201d adding, \u201cShe never heard me say Kim. She never saw me at that moment. And you know what, the bodyguard didn\u2019t know who I was. He was doing his job.\u201d<\/p>\n
She then insisted that the bodyguard didn\u2019t hurt her and was \u201cvery professional.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cHe just put an arm right across me like, \u2018Nope, you\u2019re not walking any further.\u2019 He was very kind,\u201d the \u201cScary Movie 2\u201d star said.<\/p>\n
However, a source claims that Kardashian and her family were in a golf cart while out and they never ran into Spelling.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the podcast, Spelling stated that she\u2019s known Kim her \u201cwhole life\u201d because the businesswoman was best friends with her younger brother, Randy Spelling.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe was over at the manor all the time,\u201d she recalled. \u201cIt was like, Paris [Hilton and] Kim, they were really good friends. So in turn, we were family friends \u2026 They are really good humans.\u201d<\/p>\n
