According to Zhou, this incident was part of a broader pattern of emotional volatility and inappropriate advances.<\/p>\n

On Instagram, she wrote that she had \u201clived with fear for my safety and deep distress,\u201d adding, \u201cIt is with deep regret, sadness, and disappointment that I am compelled to share a truth I have been holding inside for too long.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zhou also accused the “Avengers” actor of \u201cmisconduct,\u201d claiming he had sent her intimate photos and explicit videos early in their collaboration.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Renner first contacted me directly in June, sending personal and intimate photographs of himself, behavior that, according to public reports, he has exhibited before,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Jeremy Renner And Yi Zhou\u2019s Relationship Unravels<\/p>\n

Before things turned sour, the two filmmakers had been seen spending time together near Renner\u2019s Reno home, where Zhou shared clips of them driving in his convertible.<\/p>\n

In October, she confirmed that they had been dating but revealed that their connection had quickly deteriorated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did not reach out to him, he pursued me,\u201d Zhou said. \u201cI didn\u2019t even know his name, never watched a movie of his. He used me and denied me and denied our work.\u201d<\/p>\n

In one message, Zhou called Renner a \u201cpig,\u201d accusing him of using \u201capps to send d**k pix,\u201d and added, \u201cno one said anything \u2013 so far.\u201d<\/p>\n

Renner\u2019s alleged response read: \u201cImmigration will be notified of your\u2014\u201d with the remainder of the message cut off. Zhou declined to share the rest of the text with the outlet.<\/p>\n

Amid the chaos, Zhou also reached out to Renner about the backlash she was receiving online during their Oscar campaign. His replies were reportedly dismissive: \u201cI don\u2019t know any of these people\u201d and \u201cI don\u2019t control people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though she admitted it took her time to speak out, Zhou said she felt compelled to share her story publicly.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt took me long time, before I had the courage to write this and speak up,\u201d she explained. \u201cI thank my team, my agents \/ managers and friends \/ other women who supported me in voicing such a pain and humiliation I still have inside as I am typing these posts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Photographs she shared from the day of the alleged confrontation showed Renner beside a half-empty wine bottle, his hand reaching for the glass, eyes unfocused. Other photos appeared to show the actor lounging on a couch with his laptop at what she said was his Reno home.<\/p>\n

The shocking claims have cast a shadow over the actor\u2019s carefully rebuilt image following his near-fatal snowplow accident in 2023.<\/p>\n
