It\u2019s probably a long time overdue. Opened in 2018, the establishment has fully come into its own with a devoted clientele. There\u2019s an excellent food menu \u2013 tacos, burgers and a very cool hot dog \u2013 served \u201chere\u201d or to-go, a popular steak night and, naturally, some fantastic cocktails and incredible mocktails poured lovingly by expert, friendly bartenders. Lots of fresh-juiced options in classics like gimlets and daiquiris, but we advocate for trying the bar\u2019s inspired signature originals, with eye-catching monikers like the \u201cPole Dancer,\u201d the \u201cThirst Trap\u201d and, of course, the \u201cClaro Que S\u00ed.\u201d \u00a0Catching the vibe?<\/p>\n<p>The funky, irreverent tone is imperative to and exceedingly evident at Monkey\u2019s Tail. It doesn\u2019t have to try to be cool, it just is. But in case you\u2019re blind to a good time there is actually a neon sign that glows in a cozy nook of the bar which reads \u201cbuena vibra\u201d \u2013 good vibes. At the far end of the bar, a different sign reads \u201ccallate y bebe\u201d \u2013 shut up and drink.
