Police respond to a shooting scene near Veterans Memorial Drive in north Harris County Thursday night. (Copyright 2025 by KPRC Click2Houston – All rights reserved.)<\/p>\n
One man was killed and another injured in a shooting near Veterans Memorial Drive and Rosbrook Drive in north Houston.<\/p>\n
Just after 11 p.m. Thursday, authorities responded to reports of a disturbance near Rosbrook Drive and Moorebrook Drive in north Harris County. When they arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds. One man was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The second man is in stable condition and expected to recover.<\/p>\n
Investigators say the shooting happened nearby on Veterans Memorial Drive. Evidence at the scene included multiple shell casings and a vehicle riddled with bullet holes. <\/p>\n
Officials say the incident appears to be isolated and there is no ongoing threat to the community. No suspects have been identified, and authorities are speaking with witnesses to determine what led to the shooting.<\/p>\n
