\n\tMusic\u2019s biggest night is getting closer.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Friday morning, nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards<\/a> will be announced on a livestream beginning at 8 a.m. PT.\/11 a.m. ET. The livestream will be available to watch on the Recording Academy\u2019s YouTube channel.The nominations will be revealed in 95 categories, starting with songwriter and producer of the year. <\/p>\n

\n\tLast year, Kendrick Lamar took home the most awards of the night<\/a>, five, for song of the year, record of the year, best rap song, best rap performance and best music video. Beyonc\u00e9 won the night\u2019s top prize for album of the year<\/a>. Meanwhile, Chappell Roan won for best new artist<\/a> and gave a headline-making speech<\/a>. In addition, Amy Allen won the trophy<\/a> for songwriter of the year as she wrote the lyrics to Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s \u201cPlease Please Please\u201d and \u201cEspresso,\u201d in addition to writing tracks for Tate McRae, Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Timberlake, Leon Bridges and Koe Wetzel. Daniel Nigro won producer of the year, non-classical, while Elaine Martone\u00a0won classical.<\/p>\n

\n\tPresenters at the 2026 Grammy Awards will include Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Nicole Scherzinger, Mumford & Sons, Sam Smith, David Foster, Ang\u00e9lique Kidjo, Brandi Carlile, CeCe Winans, Doechii, Dr. Chelsey Green, Gayle King, Jon Batiste, KAROL G, Little Big Town, Lizzo and Masaki Koike. The host has not yet been announced.<\/p>\n
