Donate food, send money, give your time to help your neighbors who have temporarily lost their lifeline.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The SNAP benefit cut comes after <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phoenixnewtimes.com\/food-drink\/trump-administration-to-pay-about-half-of-november-snap-benefits-amid-shutdown-40618311\/\">the Trump administration<\/a> said they would pay about half of the SNAP benefits, and then the next day, rescinded that offer. The funding continues to be pulled back and forth in court. If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>With federal assistance currently nowhere to be seen, residents who rely on the funds worry about where to get their <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phoenixnewtimes.com\/news\/phoenix-residents-worry-next-meal-snap-benefits-limbo-40617127\/\">next meal<\/a> as <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phoenixnewtimes.com\/food-drink\/phoenix-snap-recipients-can-find-free-meals-locally-with-new-site-40618529\/\">state<\/a> and local agencies jump to fill in the gap left by the Trump Administration.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For the citywide food drive, the items most needed include proteins like canned meats and beans, peanut butter and canned fruits and vegetables.<\/p>\n<p>If you are looking to make a donation from your couch, you can donate online on <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/fundraise.stmarysfoodbank.org\/campaign\/742144\/donate\">St. Mary\u2019s Food Bank\u2019s donation page<\/a>.
