PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 Police have converged on two scenes in west Phoenix after a suspect reportedly shot a man, then shot himself and drove away late Friday morning.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to an apartment complex at 99th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road<\/a>, near the Tolleson border, around 10:45 a.m. There, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n

\"PhoenixPhoenix police are investigating a shooting that happened late Friday morning at a west Phoenix apartment complex.(Arizona’s Family)<\/p>\n

Investigators learned that the suspect shot the man, then shot himself and drove away from the apartment building before police arrived. <\/p>\n

Officers soon located the suspect in a QuikTrip parking lot near 99th Avenue and Van Buren Street<\/a>, about two miles north of the shooting scene. He was also taken to the hospital in serious condition with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.<\/p>\n
