Video of Bovino\u2019s hourslong deposition<\/a> shows attorneys for the plaintiffs asking Bovino about the Los Angeles body camera video.<\/p>\n The video shows Bovino giving a pep talk to several Border Control agents in what appears to be a parking lot. The video was taken during the height of aggressive immigration sweeps and mass protests in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n \u201cArrest as many people that touch you as you want to. Those are the general orders,\u201d Bovino tells the agents in Los Angeles in the roughly 30-second video.<\/p>\n \u201cEverybody f\u2014ing gets it, if they touch you, you hear what I\u2019m saying? Less-lethals? We\u2019re gonna look at shipping tractor trailers of that s\u2014 in here, so it\u2019s all about us now. It ain\u2019t about them. Professional, legal, ethical, moral \u2014 you know what I\u2019m talking about, legal, ethical, moral. \u2026 You\u2019re on camera, but other than that \u2026 it\u2019s what we do.\u201d<\/p>\n Another agent asks, \u201cWhose city is it, chief?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s f\u2014ing ours, it\u2019s our f\u2014ing city,\u201d Bovino replies.<\/p>\n WATCH THE VIDEO: <\/strong><\/p>\n In the deposition, an attorney for the plaintiffs asked Bovino if the sentiment he expressed in the video applies to the immigration \u201cblitz\u201d in Chicago.<\/p>\n \u201cIf anyone touches you \u2026 legally, ethically, morally \u2014 it applies anywhere,\u201d Bovino said.<\/p>\n But when the attorney asked Bovino if he was giving the instruction that officers had full rein to arrest anyone who so much as touched them, Bovino replied, \u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n VIDEO OF THE DEPOSITION<\/strong>:<\/p>\n U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis on Thursday extended restrictions<\/a> she put on area immigration enforcement through a\u00a0temporary restraining order last month<\/a>.\u00a0The order limits federal immigration agents\u2019 use of force, including tear gas and riot-control weapons, against peaceful protesters, journalists and others. It also mandates that agents wear badges or display other visible identification, and it requires that most agents use body cameras.<\/p>\n \u201cThe government would have people believe, instead, that the Chicagoland area is in a vise-hold of violence, ransacked by rioters and attacked by agitators,\u201d Ellis said in her ruling. \u201cThat simply is untrue.
