The final game-day injury reports have been released by the Chicago Bears and the New York Giants ahead of their game this Sunday, and the Bears will be without linebacker T.J. Edwards (hand\/hamstring), cornerback Josh Blackwell (concussion), defensive end Dominique Robinson (ankle), and wideout Jahdae Walker (concussion).<\/p>\n
Head coach Ben Johnson said that Edwards had surgery on a fracture in his hand, but he\u2019s not expected to go on injured reserve. He added that T.J.\u2018s hamstring issue is related to the injury from earlier this season.<\/p>\n
Running back D\u2019Andre Swift, who was held out last week with a groin issue, is listed as questionable. He\u2019s still dealing with the groin issue, but he missed today\u2019s practice for a personal reason. He was listed as full on Thursday, and he said earlier this week that he intends to play, so if the personal issue doesn\u2019t linger, he\u2019s seemingly healthy enough to go.<\/p>\n
Also questionable for the Bears is tight end Durham Smythe, who popped up on today\u2019s report as limited with a calf.<\/p>\n
And that\u2019s it. All the other Bears who were battling injury this week are off the report and good to go.<\/p>\n
The Giants\u2019 injury report is quite lengthy; they\u2019ll be without receiver Beaux Collins (neck), center John Michael Schmitz (shin), defensive end Chauncey Golston (neck), linebacker Darius Muasau (ankle), cornerback Paulson Adebo (knee), and kicker Graham Gano (neck).<\/p>\n
Schmitz, Muasau, and Adebo are all starters, and with Gano out, they plan to elevate Younghoe Koo from their practice squad.<\/p>\n
New York lists outside linebacker Victor Dimukeje (shoulder) as doubtful, and right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor (pectoral) and safety Jevon Holland (knee) as questionable.<\/p>\n
