As the day progresses, temperatures will climb into the low to mid-80s for most areas. The coastal counties will be a bit cooler, with highs in the upper 70s. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Keep an eye out for brief heavy downpours and sporadic lightning, which are the main hazards today. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Looking ahead to Sunday, a strong cold front will sweep southeast across the region. This front will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms, although precipitation chances remain fairly low due to the dry air currently in place. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Temperatures on Sunday will be on the warm side of normal, with highs in the lower to mid 80s as southwest winds push warmer air into the area. But as the front passes, cold air will move in from the northwest Sunday night through Monday night. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Lows Sunday night will dip into the lower 40s inland in southeast Georgia, and the lower 50s along the coastal areas of northeast Florida.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Monday will bring sunny skies and cooler temperatures, with highs in the lower to mid 50s for southeast Georgia and upper 50s to lower 60s in northeast Florida.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Monday night, temperatures are expected to drop into the mid-20s to around 30 degrees inland, with lows in the mid-30s near the coast.
