The 2025 college football season continues on Saturday with a jam-packed weekend of intriguing matchups that will paint a clearer picture of both conference and College Football Playoff races by the end of the night. Seventeen of the teams ranked in the first CFP Rankings<\/a> of the season will be in action, including three ranked-on-ranked matchups on the slate.<\/p>\n

The headliner of the morning window will be two of the top contenders in the Big 12 squaring off when No. 8 Texas Tech hosts No. 7 BYU. The Cougars (5-0) are the only team that hasn’t lost against Big 12 competition this season, while BYU is one of two teams in the conference with a 5-1 record. No. 2 Indiana will also be in action during the same window against Penn State.<\/p>\n

No. 9 Oregon will travel to Iowa City for a matchup against No. 20 Iowa on CBS at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Ducks and Hawkeyes both enter the weekend with just one loss in Big Ten play. No. 3 Texas A&M will face No. 22 Missouri in the final ranked-on-ranked matchup during the same time slot.<\/p>\n

No. 4 Alabama has won seven consecutive games since a Week 1 loss to Florida State, and the Crimson Tide will look to keep that streak alive when Kalen DeBoer’s team faces LSU at home. Meanwhile, No. 10 Notre Dame is also in action against Navy in the prime time window.<\/p>\n
