In addition to a full view of the City of Houston\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.houstontx.gov\/july4\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Freedom Over Texas<\/b><\/a> fireworks show, the event features <b>multiple circus performers<\/b>, <b>complimentary balloon artists<\/b>, <b>face painting<\/b>,<b> food vendors<\/b>, <b>multiple rooftop bars<\/b> and live performances by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.houstonbrassband.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Houston Brass Band<\/b><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/aliasbandhtx\/?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Alias Band<\/b><\/a>. From 6 to 8 p.m., the Downtown Houston food hall and entertainment venue is also giving away swag and advance screening tickets to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=s18jQqtGsMw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new Smurfs movie<\/a> to guests who stop by the Smurfs table. It is recommended that guests find their seats on the rooftop lawn area on the west side of the building by 9 p.m. to ensure the best fireworks viewing experience. Courtesy photo.<br \/>\nPopular Texas Barbecue Ramen Returns<\/p>\n<p>Mario says, \u201cRamen-Tatsu-ya\u2019s latest iteration of its Texas barbecue ramen returns for the month of July. This is the first time it\u2019s been available this long, with previous releases drawing lines out the door, so hopefully everyone should have a chance to get their hands on a bowl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saddle up for big Texas flavor at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramen-tatsuya.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Ramen Tatsu-ya<\/b><\/a>. The Austin-based ramen shop, with a Montrose location at 1722 California and a Memorial City location on the way, has released its popular <b>Texas Tonk<\/b>, a bold, brisket-loaded tonkotsu ramen that brings together comforting Japanese flavors and Texas barbecue in one bowl. This returning, limited-time dish features a rich 60-hour pork bone broth, thin Hakata-style noodles, smoked brisket, smoked and pickled jalape\u00f1os, negi, fermented takana mustard greens and a marinated ajitama egg.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been tweaking and tinkering with this recipe for more than a decade,\u201d says chef and founder <b>Tatsu Aikawa<\/b>. \u201cThe idea was to balance richness with brightness \u2014 like brisket with pickles and onions,\u201d adds corporate chef <b>Takuya \u2018Tako\u2019 Matsumoto <\/b>in a recent press release. \u201cThe pickled jalape\u00f1os are spicy, tangy and crisp. The takana adds crunch and a touch of mustardy sourness.
