Comedian Nikki Glaser came in hot<\/a> with her monologue in this weekend\u2019s episode Saturday Night Live, making jokes about about sex trafficking, rape, and child molestation. <\/p>\n

The first-time host joked about having \u201cresting Ghislaine face,\u201d and said her Gen Z female friends are afraid of human trafficking.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was like, not a fear of mine ever in my 20\u2019s. In my 20\u2019s I just feared like, good old-fashioned rape, you know?\u201d Glaser joked.<\/p>\n

Although the material wasn\u2019t too surprising for fans of Glaser\u2019s edgy material on her Comedy Central roast appearances<\/a> over the years, some viewers found the jokes a step too far, especially since Glaser\u2019s first sketch post-monologue focused on incest. <\/p>\n

As one X user wrote<\/a>, \u201cThe incest sketch on tonight\u2019s snl might have been a tad bit funny if it hadn\u2019t been immediately preceded by nikki glaser jokingly contemplating p*dophilia in her opening monologue.\u201d <\/p>\n

Perhaps Glaser\u2019s most controversial joke was her musings on potentially being a pedophile.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow do you become a pedophile?\u201c she asked. \u201dYou don\u2019t get to choose what you\u2019re into, dude. What if it\u2019s one of those things you don\u2019t know you like \u2018til you get in there and you\u2019re like, \u2018well, this is my thing.\u2019\u201c<\/p>\n

The joke sparked one viewer to post<\/a>, \u201c@nbcsnl I have a sense of humor but this monologue was disgusting! Did you guys even watch it before reposting it ???\u201d<\/p>\n

Another viewer listed all the taboos<\/a> Glaser joked about, from \u201cdomestic violence\u201d to \u201cracism,\u201d ending the post by telling the comedian to \u201cdo better.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNikki Glaser (of all people) absolutely bombed her #SNL monologue,\u201d wrote another X user<\/a>. \u201cIt was CRINGE.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNikki Glaser monologue was horrible,\u201d wrote another viewer. \u201cThere\u2019s no way she should be invited back to SNL. This could be one of the most controversial monologues. I\u2019m a fan of SNL in general, but not this. \u201cJokes\u201d about child abuse are not funny. @nbcsnl<\/a>“<\/p>\n

Glaser is well-known for her raunchy, controversial material. After Glaser hosted the 2025 Golden Globes, she revealed in a later Howard Stern interview<\/a> that she had to cut some jokes about Diddy, Luigi Mangione, and pedophilia within the Catholic Church. <\/p>\n

That last bit included her saying the movie Conclave, about cardinals choosing a new pope would \u201ctouch you so much that the church will have to move it to another theater,\u201d adding, “Conclave is rated PG, bring the kids. They\u2019ll love it. The Catholic Church will love it. Hot tip, you don\u2019t need ID to get into the Conclave afterparty.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her May 2024 interview<\/a> with the Daily Beast\u2019s Last Laugh podcast, Glaser revealed that she found pedophilia jokes particularly compelling. <\/p>\n

\u201cI really just am fascinated by pedophiles, because it\u2019s the sickest thing I can imagine,\u201d Glaser said. <\/p>\n

She clarified that she\u2019d feel \u201chorrible\u201d if \u201cany person that was molested left my show being like, \u2018she was defending pedophiles,\u2019 which is not what I\u2019m doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glaser added of people who leave her shows due to her pedophilia material, \u201cI wish they wouldn\u2019t have left because then they would have gotten to a whole bit where I turn that around and prove that it\u2019s horrifying and it\u2019s the worst thing ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if you survive it,\u201d Glaser said, \u201cyou\u2019re one of the strongest people that I can imagine.\u201d<\/p>\n
