It was a straightforward opening 45 minutes for Chelsea as they maintained control of the game, with the visitors not recording a single shot in the first half, though that didn&#8217;t stop some sections of the Stamford Bridge crowd booing their side off at half time with the score locked at 0-0.<\/p>\n<p>The hosts were rewarded for their positive start after the replay as they broke the deadlock through <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/270190\/malo-gusto\" data-player-guid=\"079b587a-173f-3a77-98b2-60f43628ef68\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Malo Gusto<\/a>, heading past Johnstone in the six-yard box after a pinpoint cross from Garnacho. After <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/284960\/estevao\" data-player-guid=\"8e1c5222-3aa2-3284-8ed7-277cf69dcd41\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Est\u00eav\u00e3o<\/a> was introduced for <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/270190\/liam-delap\" data-player-guid=\"0406d93b-ba27-3365-9c3b-5aba080308c6\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liam Delap<\/a> in the 64th minute, it took just 68 seconds before he made an impact with a low cross that was diverted into the path of <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/363038\/joao-pedro\" data-player-guid=\"23bd493f-7c2f-347f-92d9-78ed75a80811\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jo\u00e3o Pedro<\/a> to double Chelsea&#8217;s advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Garnacho was involved again as he showed his pace down the left flank before cutting the ball across to <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/270190\/pedro-neto\" data-player-guid=\"02aa5087-e2ac-7557-f098-7d2db41656e2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pedro Neto<\/a>, for an easy finish against his former club. That&#8217;s now two wins in a row for Chelsea, with a trip to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/soccer\/team?id=379\" data-clubhouse-guid=\"0e306f49-0f1d-27a2-4259-0643dce9c676\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Burnley<\/a> ahead after the international break.<\/p>\n<p>Positives<\/p>\n<p>A dominant display from Chelsea saw them create regular chances without coming under threat from Wolves. He could have done better with a chance in the first half from Pedro Neto&#8217;s pass but he couldn&#8217;t get a strong connection.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\" lazyload lazyload\" data-image-container=\".inline-photo\" height=\"320\" width=\"570\"\/>Garnacho turned in arguably his best game as a Chelsea player on Saturday, with the Blues running out big winners over struggling Wolves.\u00a0Andrew Kearns &#8211; CameraSport via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p><b>DF <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/189007\/trevoh-chalobah\" data-player-guid=\"fec8584e-817f-feef-6c91-e9d895706e20\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trevoh Chalobah<\/a>, 6 &#8212;<\/b> He was quick to anticipate danger and positioned himself astutely to put an end to Wolves&#8217; limited amount of attacks.<\/p>\n<p><b>DF <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/363038\/marc-cucurella\" data-player-guid=\"55ff994c-d0ad-d6f8-cbb0-922ad9b25382\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marc Cucurella<\/a>, 6 &#8212;<\/b> The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/soccer\/team?id=164\" data-clubhouse-guid=\"99314f68-1c92-218b-b02b-67c50ff9bc3a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Spain<\/a> international created overloads in midfield when inverting from full-back, while keeping the majority of his work simple. Positioned himself intelligently to allow Alejandro Garnacho to isolate his marker.<\/p>\n<p><b>DM Enzo Fernandez, 8 &#8212;<\/b> Chelsea&#8217;s number eight was at the heart of all of the Blues&#8217; best play, creating a big chance early on with an excellent scooped ball for Garnacho, and he almost caught the goalkeeper out on a couple of occasions with dangerous set-piece deliveries.<\/p>\n<p><b>DM <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/314858\/moises-caicedo\" data-player-guid=\"f4aa8cdd-a976-53d4-a320-be7958cbcf1b\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mois\u00e9s Caicedo<\/a>, 7 &#8212;<\/b> Caicedo was at his best as normal when pressing high to win back possession, but he did sometimes mistime his challenges, committing several fouls and picking up a booking.<\/p>\n<p><b>AM Pedro Neto, 7 &#8212;<\/b> The 25-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/soccer\/team?id=482\" data-clubhouse-guid=\"12433baf-649d-7f4f-7233-6db63a5f62f4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Portugal<\/a> international stepped things up in the second half and had much more intent to his play, looking to beat his marker and get balls into the box every time he had possession. Neto then scored against his former club with a simple finish following bright work from Garnacho on the left.<\/p>\n<p><b>AM Joao <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/235017\/pedro\" data-player-guid=\"3287d88a-5d86-f1b4-e942-ff694e0f17e8\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pedro<\/a>, 6 &#8212;<\/b> Joao Pedro drifted in and out of the game in the first half, and after scuffing his first chance wide, he made no mistake in the second half, hitting with power past Johnstone to double Chelsea&#8217;s lead from Estevao&#8217;s deflected cross.<\/p>\n<p><b>AM Alejandro Garnacho, 8 &#8212;<\/b> The Chelsea winger should have done better with his chance after being played in by Fernandez, but he made amends after the break with a swift cut-back and perfectly delivered cross for Gusto&#8217;s opener. The former Man United star wrapped the game up with a cut back for Pedro Neto to score the Blues&#8217; third goal.<\/p>\n<p><b>FW Liam Delap, 5 &#8212;<\/b> It was difficult to find space for the former Man City forward in the first half against Wolves&#8217; back five, but he got more involved in the game after the first goal, and was unlucky not to have been found by Garnacho after he found space in the 63rd minute. Replaced by Estevao shortly after.<\/p>\n<p>Substitutes<\/p>\n<p><b>FW Estevao (on for Delap, 64&#8243;) 7 &#8212;<\/b> Made an instant impact!
