LOS ANGELES — The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has inducted its 2025 class of music giants.<\/a><\/p>\n

The ceremony held Saturday at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater was a mix of tributes, speeches and performances by acts like Soundgarden, Salt-N-Pepa and Big Boi of Outkast, along with numerous A-list musical guests.<\/p>\n

Artists become eligible<\/a> for the hall 25 years after their first music release.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a look at this year’s Rock Hall class, a few of their defining songs and who inducted them.<\/p>\n

Outkast: American rap duo that began in the 1990s. Key songs: \u201cHey Ya,\u201d \u201cMs. Jackson\u201d and \u201cRoses.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inducted by Donald Glover. Medley performance included Big Boi, Janelle Mon\u00e1e, JID, Doja Cat, Killer Mike, Sleepy Brown<\/p>\n

Bad Company: English rock band formed in the 1970s. Key songs: \u201cFeel Like Makin\u2019 Love,\u201d \u201cCan\u2019t Get Enough,\u201d \u201cBad Company.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inducted by Mick Fleetwood. Bad Company drummer Simon Kirke was joined by Nancy Wilson of Heart and Joe Perry of Aerosmith on guitars and Black Crowes lead singer Chris Robinson on vocals.<\/p>\n

Cyndi Lauper: American singer and songwriter whose solo career began in the early 1980s. Key songs: \u201cGirls Just Wanna Have Fun,\u201d \u201cTime After Time,\u201d \u201cTrue Colors.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inducted by Chappell Roan. Lauper performed a medley of her hits, including duets with Avril Lavigne, Raye and Salt-N-Pepa.<\/p>\n

Soundgarden: American rock band formed in 1984. Key songs: \u201cBlack Hole Sun,\u201d \u201cFell on Black Days,\u201d and \u201cOutshined.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inducted by Jim Carrey. Surviving Soundgarden members performed with Taylor Momsen and Brandi Carlile, who took the place of late vocalist Chris Cornell. Cornell\u2019s daughter, Toni, also performed with Nancy Wilson.<\/p>\n

Salt-N-Pepa: American rap group formed in the 1980s. Key songs: \u201cPush It,\u201d \u201cLet\u2019s Talk About Sex\u201d and \u201cShoop.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inducted by Missy Elliott, the group performed a medley of their hits with a special appearance from En Vogue.<\/p>\n

Chubby Checker: American singer who began releasing records in the 1950s. Key songs: \u201cThe Twist,\u201d \u201cLimbo Rock,\u201d \u201cLet\u2019s Twist Again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inducted via video tribute. Checker accepted remotely via a video feed.<\/p>\n

Joe Cocker: English singer who began releasing records in the 1960s and died in 2014. Key songs: \u201cYou Are So Beautiful,\u201d \u201cUp Where We Belong,\u201d \u201cWith a Little Help From My Friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inducted by Bryan Adams. Medley performance by Teddy Swims, Tedeschi Trucks Band, along with Adams, Lauper, Chris Robinson and Nathaniel Rateliff who took the stage for a rendition of \u201cWith A Little Help from My Friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

The White Stripes: American rock band that began in the 1990s. Key songs: \u201cSeven Nation Army,\u201d \u201cWe\u2019re Going to Be Friends,\u201d \u201cDoorbell.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inducted by Iggy Pop. Tribute performance by Olivia Rodrigo, Feist and Twenty One Pilots.<\/p>\n

Warren Zevon: American singer-songwriter who began releasing solo records in the early 1970s and died in 2003. Key songs: \u201cLawyers, Guns and Money,\u201d \u201cWerewolves of London,\u201d \u201cKeep Me in Your Heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inducted by David Letterman. Honored with performance by the Killers. <\/p>\n

Carole Kaye: American session musician who played on scores of hits starting in the 1950s, primarily on bass. Key songs: The Beach Boys\u2019 \u201cGood Vibrations,\u201d Nancy Sinatra\u2019s \u201cThese Boots are Made for Walkin\u2019,\u201d Barbra Streisand\u2019s \u201cThe Way We Were.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thom Bell: American music producer and songwriter starting in the 1960s who died in 2022. Key songs: the Delfonics\u2019 \u201cLa-La (Means I Love You),\u201d the Spinners\u2019 \u201cThe Rubberband Man,\u201d the Stylistics\u2019 \u201cYou Make Me Feel Brand New.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicky Hopkins: English session musician who played keyboards on dozens of hits starting in the 1960s and died in 1994. Key songs: the Beatles\u2019 \u201cRevolution,\u201d the Rolling Stones\u2019 \u201cSympathy for the Devil,\u201d Cocker\u2019s \u201cYou Are So Beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n
