Lefty Gen-Z\u00a0City Councilman Chi Osse<\/a>\u00a0is preparing to challenge\u00a0Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries<\/a>\u00a0in the US House next year \u2014 against the explicit\u00a0objections of mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, The Post has learned.<\/p>\n \u201cHe said he wants to strike when the iron is hot,\u201d one insider said of the TikTok pol.\u00a0<\/p>\n Chi Osse has said, \u201cIt would take a very dire situation\u201d for him to want to finish out his 20s in Washington, DC.
