JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 Jaguars fans watched in disbelief Sunday night as their team surrendered a 19-point fourth-quarter lead, falling to the Houston Texans 36-29 at a watch party outside EverBank Stadium.<\/p>\n

What began as a celebration quickly devolved into scenes of despair as fans witnessed what many called \u201cone of the most unbelievable losses in Jaguar history.\u201d<\/p>\n

FOUR CENTS | <\/b>As problems mount, Jaguars can\u2019t quite seem to figure it out. They need to hurry up and fix it<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWe were rooting for you, we were all rooting for you!\u201d one distraught fan shouted as the final seconds ticked away.<\/p>\n

The collapse left some fans literally rolling on the ground, while others threw pieces of their Jaguars costumes across the room. The stunning defeat came against a Texans team that entered the game with a 3-5 record.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe could\u2019ve got a field goal. We didn\u2019t get the field goal and we let the Texans beat us,\u201d another fan said, struggling to comprehend the loss. \u201cThey\u2019re three and five \u2014 can you tell us how a three and five Texas beat us?\u201d<\/p>\n

The most common criticism from fans centered on the team\u2019s late-game strategy. \u201cThey should\u2019ve kept running the ball. We had the lead, run the ball,\u201d one fan exclaimed, expressing frustration with the play-calling.<\/p>\n

Despite the devastating loss, the Jacksonville faithful maintain their trademark resilience. Many fans, though visibly upset, expressed continued support for their team, echoing the \u201cDUUUVAL\u201d battle cry and looking ahead to next week\u2019s matchup against the Chargers.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese fans have not lost hope,\u201d said News4Jax reporter Sophia Vitello, who covered the watch party. \u201cEven though they say the Jags always do this, they still believe in them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Jaguars will look to bounce back next week when they face the Los Angeles Chargers.<\/p>\n
