Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have confirmed the end of their romance after nearly a decade together.<\/p>\n
In a joint statement through their reps, the pop star, 40, and the actor, 48, revealed they will continue to co-parent their four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, \u201cwith love.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cDue to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry\u2019s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,\u201d Perry and Bloom\u2019s spokespeople told Us Weekly<\/a>\u00a0on Thursday, July 3. <\/p>\n Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were first linked in 2016. Image Press Agency\/NurPhoto\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n \u201cThey will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is \u2014 and always will be \u2014 raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.\u201d<\/p>\n Their statement comes just one week after a source claimed that the \u201cLast Friday Night\u201d hitmaker and the \u201cThe Lord of the Rings\u201d star had split, but were \u201camicable.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Rumors had been swirling that the longtime pair had been on the outs for a while, with an insider telling Us Weekly their breakup was \u201ca long time coming\u201d and noting things between them had \u201cbeen tense for months.\u201d<\/p>\n While Perry \u201cis of course upset,\u201d the source shared that she was \u201crelieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.\u201d <\/p>\n Before her engagement to Bloom, the \u201cRoar\u201d singer was married to comedian Russell Brand<\/a>\u00a0from 2010 to 2012.<\/p>\n They briefly split in 2017 but were back together by February 2018.
