HOUSTON<\/strong> \u2013 Family and friends of 24-year-old Da\u2019vion Perry are remembering his life.<\/p>\n

The Houston man was among three people killed in a suspected drunk driving crash in Southwest Houston last Sunday.<\/p>\n

Houston police said a driver identified as Tony Oliver ran a red light and T-boned into another car.<\/p>\n

The three people in that car, including Perry, were killed.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy baby was robbed of time with her dad,\u201d said Chandra Chapron, who was Perry\u2019s girlfriend and the mother of their child. \u201cShe\u2019s not gonna remember his voice, remember his face. I have to make her remember him. That\u2019s not okay.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Sunday, dozens of loved ones gathered at Townwood Park for a balloon release in his honor.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you knew him, you knew he was the life of the party,\u201d said Perry\u2019s mother Trinice Randle. \u201cHe had a big heart. If he was your friend or family member, he was going to show up however he could.\u201d<\/p>\n

The family tells KPRC 2 they hope the suspect gets punishment to the fullest extent of the law.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou took not one, but three lives. My son was 24,\u201d Randle said. \u201cIt\u2019s nothing that\u2019s going to bring him back. Drinking and driving, we all know not to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oliver is currently facing an intoxication manslaughter charge. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.<\/p>\n
