Last week, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azfamily.com\/2025\/11\/03\/new-lane-opens-loop-101-scottsdale\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.azfamily.com\/2025\/11\/03\/new-lane-opens-loop-101-scottsdale\/\">new northbound lane<\/a> opened in the same area. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">With the two additional lanes, the Loop 101 between Princess and Shea now has four general traffic lanes and an HOV lane in both directions. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">Southbound lanes were closed over the weekend for crews to place pavement markings and finish work on the new lane in preparation for its opening on Monday.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"The Loop 101 between Princess and Shea in Scottsdale now has four general traffic lanes and an...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/4K2WPDROPJEZ7BFCOX57CD4PN4.jpeg\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/>The Loop 101 between Princess and Shea in Scottsdale now has four general traffic lanes and an HOV lane in both directions.(ADOT)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">The new lanes are part of an ongoing $108 million project by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to widen the Loop 101.
