The couple learned in recent weeks that Shona was pregnant, but today’s episode – which is streaming early on both ITVX<\/a> and YouTube<\/a> – will see the pair get the horrible news that their unborn child has health issues.<\/p>\n

The instalment begins with David being accosted by Kit Green following the awkward double-date with Sarah, with Kit accusing David of making jibes about their relationship. David is unrepentant and pushes past the police officer, leading to him being arrested.<\/p>\n

This means he is unable to take Shona to the hospital for her appointment, so Sarah agrees to give her a lift. David pleads with Kit to give him a break and let him attend the scan, with the officer relenting and driving him to the hospital. <\/p>\n

The developments come ahead of a special episode<\/a> which will air on Wednesday (12 November), with the instalment revolving exclusively around the married couple as they react to the sad news. <\/p>\n
