{"id":370006,"date":"2025-11-10T21:02:18","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T21:02:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/370006\/"},"modified":"2025-11-10T21:02:18","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T21:02:18","slug":"manifold-garden-studio-to-release-room-scale-vr-puzzler-hotel-infinity-november-13th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/370006\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Manifold Garden&#8217; Studio to Release Room-scale VR Puzzler &#8216;Hotel Infinity&#8217; November 13th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Studio Chyr, the team behind flatscreen puzzler\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/473950\/Manifold_Garden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manifold Garden (2019)<\/a>, is bringing an enigmatic VR follow-up to Quest and PSVR 2 this week.<\/p>\n<p>Called Hotel Infinity,\u00a0the game lets you explore the winding halls and grand ballrooms of a mysterious hotel using your own two feet, letting you wander vast areas from your living room without the need of controller-based movement or teleportation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough seamless blend of portals, lifts, impossibly winding hallways, and other architectural deceptions, Hotel Infinity allows you to explore vast areas by physically walking around your play area,\u201d Studio Chyr says.<\/p>\n<p>The cornerstone of Hotel Infinity\u2019s design is its constantly changing hallways and rooms, ostensibly inspired by M.C. Escher\u2019s art, which of course includes a bevy of mind-bending puzzles to solve.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"imgur-embed-pub\" lang=\"en\" data-id=\"a\/ji6Gv8J\">\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While Hotel Infinity shares \u201ca lot of the same impossible architecture DNA\u201d as Manifold Garden, \u201cthey\u2019re not directly related,\u201d the studio explains.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur hope is that folks who like Manifold Garden find something special in Hotel Infinity, but playing Manifold Garden is in no way required for folks to fully enjoy Hotel Infinity,\u201d Chyr Studio says.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the studio says\u00a0Hotel Infinity is best experienced in a room-scale environment with a play area of 2 m \u00d7 2 m (~ 6 ft \u00d7 6 ft),\u00a0however alternative locomotion controls will also be available at launch for those who aren\u2019t able to play in room-scale.<\/p>\n<p>Hotel Infinity is launching on Quest and PSVR 2 on November 13th.
