The cancellations coincide with the shutdown of federal operations, which has left many controllers unpaid and fatigued. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">United Airlines has canceled dozens of flights at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) this weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">According to United, six flights were canceled on Nov. 9, followed by 34 on Nov. 10 and 44 on Nov. 11. The cancellations affected flights departing from or arriving in Houston, primarily on domestic and regional routes.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 kDvXdO font_openSans articleList\">\n<li class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__StackBase-sc-1fnzlkn-7 ecGWWE iQviKm\"\/><\/ul>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">This comes after the Trump administration directed airlines to cut six percent of flights at 40 major airports by Tuesday and 10 percent by Friday.
