There are also more options to find users, GameChat and Game Card-related updates, Display updates, a language update (adding Thai and Polish) and much more. Of course, there&#8217;s also the usual stability improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the full rundown, courtesy of Nintendo&#8217;s official support page:<\/p>\n<p>Ver. 21.0.0 (Released 10th November 2025)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Added symbols above software icons displayed on the HOME Menu to indicate whether the software is a physical or a digital version.<\/li>\n<li>When multiple software downloads are in progress, there is now an option to cancel all.<\/li>\n<li>If a console bundle includes a software download, there will now be an icon to \u201cReceive Software.\u201d It will display if the system is connected to the internet.\n<ul>\n<li>The icon will launch <strong>Nintendo eShop<\/strong> and you can proceed to the downloadable software.<\/li>\n<li>You can still receive the software by navigating to <strong>Nintendo eShop<\/strong> from the HOME Menu directly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>When finding users to send a friend request to, the <strong>Search for Users You\u2019ve Played With<\/strong> option under <strong>Add Friend<\/strong> now includes people you\u2019ve interacted with in your friends\u2019 GameChat rooms.<\/li>\n<li>Added the ability to download data for a virtual game card even if the \u201cUse Online License&#8221; setting is turned off.\n<ul>\n<li>This option is available in the <strong>Options<\/strong> of a virtual game card when accessed via <strong>Virtual Game Cards<\/strong> from the HOME Menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The following updates have been made for GameChat:\n<ul>\n<li>The game will not automatically go to sleep while chatting.<\/li>\n<li>The option to turn off \u201cChat Audio Panning\u201d has been added.<\/li>\n<li>Chat can continue if the console goes from TV mode (docked) to Handheld or Table mode where this scenario changes the internet from a wired connection to a wireless connection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The following updates have been made in <strong>Accessibility<\/strong> in <strong>System Settings<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>When <strong>Use Text to Speech<\/strong> is turned on, the description of the predictive conversion character on the Japanese keyboard is now read out loud.<\/li>\n<li>The upper limit of <strong>Text-to-Speech Speed<\/strong> was increased from 300% to 400%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The following updates have been made in <strong>Audio<\/strong> in <strong>System Settings<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>The ability to change the audio mode for a wirelessly connected Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller was added. \u201cStable\u201d or \u201cLow Latency\u201d can be selected.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Low Latency&#8221; will reduce audio latency when compared to \u201cStable\u201d but may be more subject to interference in some wireless environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The following updates have been made in <strong>Display<\/strong> in <strong>System Settings<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cHDR Output\u201d was renamed to \u201cSystem Screen\u2019s HDR Output.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Improved the screen display when using <strong>Adjust Screen Size<\/strong> to make it easier to adjust.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The following updates have been made in <strong>Notifications<\/strong> in <strong>System Settings<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>The option &#8220;Platinum Point Notification\u201d was renamed to &#8220;Nintendo Switch Online Notification.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The following updates have been made in <strong>System<\/strong> in <strong>System Settings<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cStop Charging Around 90%\u201d was renamed and updated to \u201cStop Charging Around 80-90%\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Thai and Polish were added to the list of options under <strong>Language<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>Thai and Polish will only be available in software when it supports the respective language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>General system stability improvements to enhance the user&#8217;s experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If we hear about anything else going on with this latest firmware update, we&#8217;ll be sure to let you know.
