Police have released CCTV footage of four cars being set on fire in both Greenfields and Dudley Park across the month of October, in the hopes the community can help identify anyone involved.<\/p>\n

The first incident, at 4.20am on October 6 in Greenfields, resulted in Penelope Travers, 38, being hospitalised for 17 days with burns to 25 per cent of her body after her home was targeted.<\/a><\/p>\n

The firebomb ricocheted off her ute, igniting on the ground and spreading to engulf Travers\u2019 carport.<\/p>\n

Woken by the commotion, Travers ran outside and attempted to douse the flames to save her home and family inside.<\/p>\n

\u201cI immediately tried to put the fire out, and while I was trying to do that, the spray paint cans nearby exploded right in my face,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was instant pain, searing pain, and I knew straight away that I was in a lot of trouble. I felt my skin melt away.\u201d <\/p>\n

The second firebombing incident occurred around 1.20am in Dudley Park on October 10, the third at 5.20am in Greenfields and the fourth back in Dudley Park at 5am on October 24.<\/p>\n

Investigators believe these incidents are all linked and have released CCTV footage in the hope someone
with information comes forward.<\/p>\n

Anyone with any information relating to these fires are urged to contact Crime Stoppers.<\/p>\n
