1.\u00a0New ferry routes expected to bring 1 million more riders<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

NYC Ferry ridership has already broken records with 1 million riders in August for the first time since its inception in 2017.<\/p>\n

Now, the New York City Economic Development Corporation, also known as NYCEDC, has a plan that aims to increase ridership even more with new \u201coptimized\u201d routes that connect more places and people.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Hochul, Mamdani honeymoon phase ahead of budget negotiations<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

Gov. Kathy Hochul and Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani looked like they were relishing the honeymoon phase of their political relationship over the weekend at the Somos conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n

They appeared together at multiple events, praising each other. But there were also doses of tough love for Hochul, providing a reality check on Mamdani\u2019s promises. Meanwhile, the mayor-elect is sending a message: if there\u2019s a will, there\u2019s a way.<\/p>\n
