\n\tHollywood is mourning the loss of Michael Madsen<\/a>, who died Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed. He was 67. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor, known for his work in many Quentin Tarantino films like Reservoir Dogs<\/a>,\u00a0Kill Bill, The Hateful Eight<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Once Upon a Time in Hollywood<\/a>, was found unresponsive by deputies responding to a 911 call at his home in Malibu. His rep told THR<\/a> Madsen had \u201ca cardiac arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the news, stars and family took to social media to share tributes to Madsen. His sister and Candyman actress Virginia Madsen posted a photo<\/a> of them with her mom, writing partly in the caption, \u201cHe was thunder and velvet. Mischief wrapped in tenderness. A poet disguised as an outlaw. A father, a son, a brother \u2014 etched in contradiction, tempered by love that left its mark. We\u2019re not mourning a public figure. We\u2019re not mourning a myth \u2014 but flesh and blood and ferocious heart.\u201d Sharon Stone wrote in the comments: \u201cMy sincere condolences to you and your family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe White Lotus<\/a> actor Walton Goggins, who co-stared with Madsen in The Hateful Eight, shared photos with the actor on Instagram<\/a>: \u201cMichael Madsen\u2026 this man\u2026 this artist\u2026 this poet\u2026 this rascal\u2026Fucking ICON\u2026. Aura like no one else. Ain\u2019t enough words so I\u2019ll just say this\u2026. I love you buddy. A H8TER forever,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

\n\tJennifer Tilly<\/a>, Madsen\u2019s The Getaway co-star, shared on X<\/a> that he was \u201cone of my favorite actors I ever worked with.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBilly Baldwin wrote on X<\/a>: \u201cFitting that Michael Madsen would pass away on 4th of July weekend. He was no firecracker\u2026 a total stick of dynamite on screen and in life. Rest easy my friend.\u201d<\/p>\n
