PHOENIX \u2014 A crash in north Phoenix on Tuesday morning has left a male bicyclist seriously hurt, according to the city’s police department.<\/p>\n
At about 9:01 a.m., officers were reportedly called to a bicycle-car crash in the area of 11th Avenue and Carefree Highway.<\/p>\n
Police said when they arrived on the scene, a bicyclist was being treated by an off-duty officer for injuries. The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, officials said.<\/p>\n
The driver of the car and a woman remained on scene, according to police.<\/p>\n
Impairment is reportedly not believed to be a factor.<\/p>\n
