She finished with 12 points in her fourth start this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Burke is shooting a whopping 50.7 percent from behind the arc this season, which is the highest mark in the league among players who\u2019ve attempted at least 50 shots from 3-point range.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Burke has been so impressive that Natasha Cloud has launched a campaign for her to participate in this year\u2019s 3-point shooting contest during WNBA All-Star weekend later this month.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.49926794;display:block\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36434808\" width=\"885\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/user-expressly-acknowledges-agrees-downloading-107577049.jpg\" alt=\"Kennedy Burke celebrates during the Liberty-Sparks game on June 3, 2025. \" class=\"wp-image-36434808\"  \/>Kennedy Burke celebrates during the Liberty\u2019s 89-79 win over the Sparks on June 3, 2025. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Burke blushed and smiled at Cloud\u2019s assertion. Asked whether she would want to partake in the annual event, Burke said she hasn\u2019t really thought about it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know,\u201d Burke said. \u201cI just want to play, honestly. Just be the best player for my teammates, be a good teammate. So, I mean, that\u2019s not something that I\u2019m really focused on. I just want to focus on taking it day by day, staying present.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A new public art installation honoring the 2024 WNBA champions was unveiled Thursday on the plaza at Barclays Center.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Liberty Portraits: A Monument to the 2024 Champions,\u201d created by renowned artist LaToya Ruby Frazier, tells the story of 10 of the 12 players who contributed to last year\u2019s title run.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Introducing The Liberty Portraits: A Monument to the 2024 Champions \u2014 a powerful new public art installation by renowned artist LaToya Ruby Frazier, now on display on the plaza at Barclays Center. \ud83d\uddfd\u2728<\/p>\n<p>Commissioned in celebration of the Liberty\u2019s 2024 WNBA Championship, the 9ft\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/o7Wn3IwZIP\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/o7Wn3IwZIP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 New York Liberty (@nyliberty) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nyliberty\/status\/1940839586542113017?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">July 3, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Each 3D frame includes a 9-foot-tall portrait of a player in their Liberty uniform on one side and an image of the same player with their chosen family on the other. There\u2019s also text panels that feature first-person testimonies from the voice of a loved one.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Frazier hopes the portraits are \u201cbeacons of women\u2019s leadership and the power of sisterhood.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis collaboration extends beyond fandom and the spectacle of sport; it\u2019s an act of celebrating and bearing witness to the full humanity of these championship players \u2014 their struggles, their triumphs, their lives outside the arena,\u201d Frazier said in a statement. \u201cI\u2019m interested in creating a bridge between fans and the team, deepening a sense of compassion and commanding the dignity and respect the team deserves.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is the first of what Liberty owner Clara Wu Tsai hopes to be many public art installations outside Barclays in the coming years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sandy Brondello and Cheryl Reeves were named the head coaches for this month\u2019s All-Star game.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Brondello is set to coach Team Napheesa Collier and Reeves will head Team Caitlin Clark.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.50146628;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36434830\" width=\"886\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/user-expressly-acknowledges-agrees-downloading-107576197.jpg\" alt=\"Sandy Brondello looks on during the Liberty-Sparks game on July 3, 2025. \" class=\"wp-image-36434830\"  \/>Sandy Brondello looks on during the Liberty\u2019s win over the Sparks. The Liberty are second at 12-5 with a .706 win percentage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mercury coach Nate Tibbetts was in line to join Reeves until the Wings knocked off Phoenix on Thursday, dropping his team to 12-6 on the season (.667.)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart, both of whom were named starters this week, will join Brondello in Indianapolis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All-Star reserves are scheduled to be announced Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cloud was ecstatic to learn Philadelphia is joining Detroit and Cleveland in the WNBA\u2019s upcoming expansion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor my hometown team, the Sixers, to truly invest into a W team, that\u2019s always been my dream to have an organization for the city, it\u2019s going to be so important,\u201d Cloud said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cloud will be 38 when Philadelphia is expected to begin to play in 2030. <\/p>\n<p>She doesn\u2019t know whether she\u2019ll still be playing.
