{"id":37332,"date":"2025-07-04T06:11:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-04T06:11:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/37332\/"},"modified":"2025-07-04T06:11:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-04T06:11:09","slug":"suns-weighing-potential-bradley-beal-buyout","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/37332\/","title":{"rendered":"Suns weighing potential Bradley Beal buyout"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The winds are continuing to blow in the direction of a buyout for Bradley Beal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Suns have discussed the idea of a buyout for the guard and allowing him to hit the open market, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azcentral.com\/story\/sports\/nba\/suns\/2025\/07\/03\/phoenix-suns-discussing-possible-bradley-beal-buyout\/84464670007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Arizona Republic reported<\/a> on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It follows an earlier suggestion from Phoenix sports radio host John Gambadoro, who speculated during an <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/06\/22\/sports\/suns-appear-to-have-made-up-mind-on-bradley-beals-future-after-kevin-durant-trade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">appearance on \u201cThe Kevin O\u2019Connor Show\u201d<\/a> last month that the Suns would \u201ceither trade him or they will buy him out.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.49926794;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36433867\" width=\"885\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/user-expressly-acknowledges-agrees-downloading-102240359.jpg\" alt=\"Bradley Beal\" class=\"wp-image-36433867\"  \/>The Suns are reportedly considering buying out Bradley Beal\u2019s contract.  NBAE via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>There are two years left on Beal\u2019s contract, with a value of nearly $111 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It stems from the five-year, $251 million contract he signed with the Wizards, which included a no-trade clause.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6457671\/2025\/06\/28\/nba-offseason-themes-pacers-nuggets-bradley-beal-suns\/?source=user_shared_article\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Beal is reportedly open <\/a>to a possible trade, according to The Athletic, but his ideal outcome would be to remain with the Suns.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Beal\u2019s arrival in Phoenix has not gone as planned since he arrived and averaged 17.6 points per game during his two seasons in the desert.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Before his stint with the Suns, he had averaged 22.1 points per game in 11 seasons with the Wizards.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.66699219;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36433868\" width=\"394\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/user-expressly-acknowledges-agrees-downloading-102131424.jpg\" alt=\"Bradley Beal \" class=\"wp-image-36433868\"  \/>Bradley Beal has struggled since joining the Suns.
