Apple gave Vision Pro gaming a huge usability boost by adding support for the PSVR2 Sense Controllers with visionOS 26<\/a>. Now, the company is directly selling these Sony controllers through its online store.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sony doesn\u2019t sell the PSVR2 Sense controllers separately. You had to buy the entire PSVR2 kit just to get them.<\/p>\n

PSVR2 controllers should elevate the Vision Pro\u2019s gaming experience<\/p>\n

Apple does not ship the Vision Pro<\/a> with any physical controllers. While the hand gestures work for navigating around the UI, they are not precise enough for gaming.\u00a0<\/p>\n

To solve this problem, Apple approached Sony about adding support for PlayStation\u2019s VR2 hand controllers<\/a> to the Vision Pro last year. Both companies then announced official support for the controllers with visionOS 26 at WWDC25.<\/p>\n

Now, nearly four months later, Apple has started selling the PSVR2 Sense controllers directly through its online store. You can purchase a pair of them with the charging dock for $249.95. The company will also start selling the controllers through its retail stores starting Monday, November 17.<\/p>\n

Since Sony doesn\u2019t offer the controllers separately, this makes it much easier for Vision Pro users to get their hands on a pair.<\/p>\n

The PSVR2 Sense controllers wrap around each hand and feature a three-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer, and built-in buttons, triggers, and analog sticks.<\/p>\n
