Most of these spots are serving Nov. 27 or providing takeout, but The Mont is cooking up some holiday dishes all week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Holidays can be tough for people separated from their families, so here\u2019s a quick shoutout to everybody celebrating Friendsgiving. Whether the stuffing is served at a kitchen table or dished up in a fancy hotel dining room, this food fest is always an opportunity to get heartfelt and tell your loved ones you care about them before fighting over the last slice of pie.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Or skip the vulnerability and go straight to the pie. You do you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Multicourse holiday week specials at The Mont<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Mont is not open Nov. 27, but diners can experience its festive five-course and eight-course tasting menus throughout Thanksgiving week. A PR email describes both menus as capturing \u201cthe essence of fall through artful presentations and deep, comforting flavors,\u201d on top of their regular a la carte options. The five-course menu costs $75 and the eight-course version is $90.<\/p>\n<p>Menu items mentioned were a mushroom bisque, harvest salad, duck breast, and butternut squash ravioli with mushroom conserva and Parmesan. For dessert there\u2019s sweet potato custard with sabl\u00e9 \u2014 classic French shortbread \u2014 and meringue. The eight-course menu features flounder with apple-seaweed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seriouseats.com\/dashi-japanese-stock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dashi<\/a>, potato pav\u00e9 with black truffle and caviar sauce, and wild boar.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Reservations are available on <a href=\"https:\/\/resy.com\/cities\/dallas-fort-worth-tx\/venues\/the-mont?seats=2&amp;date=2025-11-06\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resy<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>4729 Saint Armand Circle, Fort Worth; 817-502-3400<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cobblers, pies and full meals from Blue Mound Cafe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For $149, Blue Mound Cafe will prepare your meal for pick up, according to their social media <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bluemoundcaferufesnow\/posts\/-thanksgiving-is-almost-here-were-now-taking-pre-orders-for-thanksgiving-meals-f\/122183561006068962\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">post<\/a>, complete with turkey, two sides, cranberry sauce and either a dozen rolls or cornbread. Customers can pick from the following family sides: dressing, buttered corn, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, cabbage, pinto beans and macaroni and cheese.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ll cover your dessert for an extra charge. Pies are $30 and come in chocolate, coconut, banana, German chocolate, pumpkin and pecan. By Loews hotel in the Arlington Entertainment District, has two culinary options for Thanksgiving: a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cutandbourbon.com\/menus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">brunch buffet<\/a> 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and a <a href=\"https:\/\/resy.com\/cities\/arlington-tx\/venues\/cut-and-bourbon-at-live-by-loews-arlington-texas?seats=2&amp;date=2025-11-27\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">traditional dinner<\/a> 5-10 p.m. Brunch will take place in the Arlington Foyer on the hotel\u2019s second floor and offers brunch classics like pancakes, omelets, Benedicts, avocado toast and migas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The cost is $98 per adult and $35 for kids 6-12. Children 5 and younger eat free and valet parking is complimentary for brunch guests. Reservations are encouraged and are available through <a href=\"https:\/\/resy.com\/cities\/arlington-tx\/venues\/cut-and-bourbon-at-live-by-loews-arlington-texas\/events\/thanksgiving-grand-brunch-buffet-2025-11-27?seats=2&amp;date=2025-11-06\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The turkey will be served in the restaurant. Executive chef Robert Carr\u2019s dinner service will include a slow-roasted turkey breast, braised thigh roulade for $60 and a Thanksgiving special, which staff said was still in the works as of Nov. 6. Pricing will be a la carte, according to a PR email, and their usual a la carte menu will also be available all day. The carryout meal runs for $128 and serves five, according to the Fort Worth location\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whiskeycake.com\/holiday\/alliance-fort-worth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This turkey comes smoked with bourbon and rosemary gravy, cranberry chutney and sides of creamed Brussels sprouts, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, turkey sausage, poblano and Gouda stuffing, and potato rolls with butter.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Half a whiskey cake goes for $42 and serves 8-10 people while a $78 full cake serves 18-20. Adults dine for $60, kids 6-12 for $30 and younger children eat free. Like the Live! By Loews services, valet is free for diners.
