Nov. 12 (UPI) — A new trailer for The Housemaid shows Amanda Seyfried make Sydney Sweeney uncomfortable with an unexpected outburst.<\/p>\n

The preview<\/a>, released Wednesday, shows Seyfried’s Nina crying and yelling as she searches for missing PTA notes, which she blames Sweeney’s Millie for losing.<\/p>\n

As the trailer continues, Nina’s mental state only worsens.<\/p>\n

“From director Paul Feig, the film plunges audiences into a twisted world where perfection is an illusion and nothing is as it seems,” an official synopsis reads. “Trying to escape her past, Millie accepts a job as a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Nina and Andrew Winchester (Brandon Sklenar). But what begins as a dream job quickly unravels into something far more dangerous — a sexy, seductive game of secrets, scandal and power.”<\/p>\n

Nichel Morrone also stars in the film, which arrives in theaters Dec. 19.<\/p>\n
