Coco Gauff travelled to Wimbledon with real title aspirations but was stunned in the first round.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After Gauff won the French Open<\/a> in June, many picked her as a favorite to add another Grand Slam title to her collection at SW19.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t to be, however, as Gauff lost to Ukrainian star Dayana Yastremska<\/a> in her opening match 6-7, 6-1<\/p>\n

The American just couldn\u2019t get going against Yastremska, as she lost a first-round match at a major for the first time in two years.<\/p>\n

Reacting to Gauff\u2019s shock Wimbledon exit, one of the biggest names on the ATP Tour<\/a> shared his thoughts.<\/p>\n

During the latest episode of \u2018Wimbledon Unfiltered with Nick Kyrgios\u2019, 2022 finalist Nick Kyrgios<\/a> gave his verdict on the 21-year-old\u2019s first-round defeat.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen was the last time we saw Coco Gauff\u2026 she looked a bit overwhelmed yesterday,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe lost a tight first set, then when it rains, it pours.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe couldn\u2019t get back into it, at any other Slam she may have fought back, but here, [Dayana] Yastremska just came out swinging and just trampled all over her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Winning a tense first set in a tiebreaker 7-3, Yastremska pushed ahead in the second, winning comfortably on Court One.<\/p>\n
