Cheryl Hines obliquely referenced her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr.\u2019s sexting scandal in her newly released memoir, \u201cUnscripted.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The \u201cCurb Your Enthusiasm\u201d alum, 60, said that she was in Italy on holiday when her husband called to \u201cwarn me of another breaking story.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cambiguous story\u201d involved a \u201cpolitical journalist who said she had some communication with a former reporting subject that had turned personal,\u201d but it was \u201cnever physical.\u201d It was widely rumored to be Kennedy, which turned out to be true.<\/p>\n

She wrote about it in her newly released memoir, \u201cUnscripted.\u201d Getty Images<\/p>\n

Last year, Page Six exclusively reported<\/a> that former New York magazine writer Olivia Nuzzi, 32, and the Secretary of Health and Human Services, 71, had engaged in a nearly year-long online affair.<\/p>\n

A source told us that the two told each other they loved each other (over the phone) every time they talked and had \u201cincredible\u201d sex over FaceTime.<\/p>\n

A Kennedy spokesperson said that he \u201conly met Olivia Nuzzi once in his life for an interview she requested, which yielded a hit piece.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hines wrote that the unsavory headlines were \u201cleaving me with the feeling of being unimportant to him\u2026It was the end of the line for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued to stay on in Europe, and when she returned home, Kennedy was eager to talk, although she \u201cfelt so distant from him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Emmy nominee shared that for the next few days, she and Kennedy \u201cstopped everything and drilled down on the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe talked about all of the painful times we\u2019d been through in the last few years and what we meant to each other,\u201d and eventually they \u201ctightened\u201d their bond.<\/p>\n

She discredited Nuzzi<\/a> in a recent podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you always have to consider the source, right?\u201d the actress quipped. \u201cSo that\u2019s where I start. And then it ends with a conversation with Bobby.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hines married Kennedy in 2014. It is her second marriage and his third. His second wife, Mary Richardson, died by suicide two years after he filed for divorce. She had accused him of being a \u201csexual deviant\u201d<\/a> during their contentious divorce proceedings. <\/p>\n

The political scion and former heroin addict, who ran for President before dropping out, has been a controversial figure for his anti-vaccine beliefs<\/a>.<\/p>\n
